from 165 reviewsThis wireless fence does what it's supposed to do. The radar technology keeps my dog in the yard without any physical fence. It took some trial and error to find the right sensitivity settings, but now it works reliably. Battery life could be better - I get about 2 days per charge with heavy use.
I love this PetHey F910Plus dog collar! It's super easy to set up the radar-based system and really fun to set the forbidden zones. Still training my 2 schnauzers but it's already helping a lot. The waterproof collar holds up well in rain, and the three training modes (beep/vibration/shock) are perfect for different situations. My only suggestion would be to make the collar straps more durable for heavy chewers.
For our anxiety-prone Corgi, the beep-only mode works perfectly. The 50-yard GPS boundary gives her security without stress. Collar is lightweight enough for her small neck. Setup took 10 minutes!
Full-time RVers rejoice! The GPS system establishes instant boundaries at every new campsite. 999-yard range covers most parks. Waterproofing handles rainy days. We keep one collar always charging since outlets are limited.
At our seaside rental, the 500-yard GPS boundary kept our dog from wandering onto roads. Saltwater-proof collar handled daily swims. Setup took 2 minutes. Far better than tying her up!
I have a large unfenced yard with neighbours and train tracks. The PetHey F910Plus is a huge upgrade from traditional invisible fences - no digging or wires needed! The radar-based system lets me create a customized 280ft boundary in about 15 minutes. The only minor issue was running out of visual flags for my large area, but that's not the product's fault. The real-time distance monitoring on the controller gives me peace of mind when I can't watch my dog directly. It's pricey but worth it for the convenience and precision.
I ordered this Wireless Dog Fence & Forbidden Area device for my Shepard/Pitbull cross who is very friendly and likes to wander. With this system we can now keep him from wandering into the front yard. I have had many other "invisible" fence systems through the years, from the traditional "have to bury a wire around the yard" to the newer GPS style. This unit however seems much easier to use, setup and its radar-based accuracy is just as good as the others. I tested mine by setting the distance to 30 feet and left the main module in a room closest to my back yard, this created a 30-foot circle to allow the dog to free roam, I took the tester and collar and started walking, and right before I hit the 30-foot mark the device beeps, if I continued the device beeped and then vibrated. The stay out feature is nice if you have a room where you do not want your pets. The unit base will stop vibrate once when I stopped and headed back within the safe area. Now the downside, the cost. I really do not feel the unit is worth as much as it is sold for, yes it works, yes it works well, it is easy to set up, but for the cost I would expect more than one collar. There are GPS systems that for half the cost include two collars. Perhaps if this came with all three collars that the unit can link to the price would be a bit more justified.
After our terrier tunneled under every physical fence, we tried this GPS wireless fence. GPS creates underground "virtual walls" - she gets corrected when digging too deep! The 25-yard minimum contains her perfectly in our small yard.
Gentle enough for our 12yo Shepherd! Set to vibration-only mode with 50-yard boundaries. GPS works perfectly despite his slow movements. The lightweight collar doesn't irritate his arthritis. Finally lets him enjoy yard time safely.
This PetHey F910Plus dog fence works well and isn't that difficult to get installed. The product comes with everything you need to get it installed and working. Once installed, you can set your zones and the area perimeter you want to contain your dog in. The perimeter only can be in circular. But you can adjust the radius by 1 foot, thanks to the advanced radar technology. The collar is very sensitive and responds well to the area's set. Like most training collars, there are three different modes that can be set for different conditions. Training your dog will help get the most out of this system. This is a very precise system that works well to contain your dog within a set area. It is a bit pricey, but the features make it worth the cost. This system allows you to make changes when required and is easy to get set up and working.
After charging the collar and the transmitter screen I read the instructions and followed them best I could. It was relatively simple to pick the distance for the dog collar. I picked a 75 foot radius which kept the dog exactly where I wanted. At first the dog tried to dig around the fence again that was out of the "safe" zone. With a loud tone first and a low power shock the dog learned quickly where the zones were. I tested many times by throwing a ball and the dog learned quickly where the zone was and once the tone went off he would not cross the zone line. I would say it took about 5 days for the dog to explore the limits and never tried to run out of the zone. I no longer had to keep my attention on the dog fully and didn't have to worry about him twisting up in the dog rope I previously was using. Does this work perfect? In my opinion and usage yes. Is it expensive? Yes, but at the cost I can divert my attention elsewhere while not worrying if the dog is going to escape from the yard. Battery on collar lasted about 3 days and the control box lasted 5 days before needed to recharge. They do take hours to recharge so would be a good idea to charge during the night when you are sleeping. Roughly 2-3 hours to fully charge the collar from 10%. I absolutely recommend this for dogs. Five stars even with the steep high price.
Managing 3 dogs (Lab, Beagle, Terrier) is easier with PetHey F830Plus. Individual collar settings accommodate each personality. GPS handles their different speeds - no false triggers when they chase each other near boundaries. The 999-yard range covers our entire property.
Still working on getting everything set up with my new PetHey Fence, but it seems pretty simple and user-friendly. The radar technology appears very precise compared to other systems I've tried. The collar is comfortable for my golden retriever and the battery life seems decent so far.
Amazing invisible fence so far! As long as you follow the instructions for the radar-based system, it performs exactly how it's supposed to...sadly, the majority of today's society can't read instruction manuals...you can tell which ones they are...they are the ones who left a bad review, saying it doesn't work.. The 280ft range is perfect for my backyard and the vibration correction mode works like a charm.
Our escape-artist Husky met his match! The GPS tracking follows him relentlessly - if he breaches the 300-yard boundary, corrections continue until he returns. The vibration mode alone stopped 90% of escape attempts. Worth the premium price for peace of mind.
